Marjorie M. Swartz, 89, of 1245 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, died 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2007, at the Miller House in Celina.

She was born February 13, 1918, in Mercer County, Ohio, the daughter of William and Anna (Howick) Craft.

She married Herbert C. Swartz on June 25, 1946; he preceded her in death on March 4, 1985.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers; Bernard, Leo, John, Frank and Clayton Craft.

Marjorie was a homemaker and had also retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Saint Marys after 37 years of service. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, and the altar sodality of the church.

She was a member of the Auglaize Co. Senior Citizens and a student of the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. She enjoyed bowling, archery, and travel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Saint Marys, the Reverend Anthony Cutcher, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial donations may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice or Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
