Justin “Bud” Slone, 31, of 8487 South Bronze lane, Highlands Ranch, CO and formerly of Wapakoneta, OH died suddenly at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, November 5,2008 in the emergency department of Littleton Adventist Hospital in Littleton, CO after suffering an aortic aneurysm. 

He was born November 21,1976 in St.Marys, OH, the son of Michael and Deborah (Wilder) Slone.  His father preceded him in death in 1983 and his mother, Deborah Hower, survives in Wapakoneta, OH.

¨ Step-brother, Jonathon Hower, of Wapakoneta, OH

¨ Maternal Grandmother, Bertha Wilder of Van Wert, OH

¨ Paternal Grandmother, Shelby Roller of St.Marys, OH 

He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandfather, Terrill Wilder and paternal grandfather, Raymond Roller. 

Bud was a 1995 graduate of Wapakoneta High School.  He had worked in restaurant management and was currently involved in construction work. 

Bud loved life and was known as the family clown. He enjoyed traveling, living life to the fullest, playing golf and watching sports.

Funeral rites will be held 11:00  a..m. Wednesday, November 12 at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High St., St.Marys, OH, the Rev. Alva Daniel, officiant.  Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St.Marys, OH.

Visiting for family and friends will be held 2-4 and 6-8 on Tuesday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be directed to the family.
