He was born May 18, 1942, in Fonde, Kentucky, the son of Franklin and Helen (Wright) Moore.

He married Rosellen Hale on June 30, 1989; she survives at the residence.

He is survived by one daughter, Vera (Bill) Case of Saint Marys; by two step-daughters: Sara Sexton of Indianapolis and Charlotte Hicks of Madison, Wisconsin; by one step-son, James Vance of Florida. He is survived by 7 grandchildren; by 3 great-grandchildren; by one sister, Joyce Curry of Cincinnati; by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: Franklin, Jerry, Harold, Arvel and Issac Moore; by one sister, Frankie Sue Smith.

Mr. Moore was retired from the Ohio Decorative Products Company in Spencerville. He enjoyed collecting trains and Snoopy memorabilia; he loved watching sports, especially college football and professional wrestling.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 30, 2007, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, with Pastors Elmer Davis and Bob Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
