Victor L. McKinney, 63, of 430 Huffman Street in St. Marys, OH died 10:15 a.m. Monday March 5, 2012 at Golden Living Center – Valley. 

He was born July 25, 1948 in Celina, OH to Raymond and Gladys (Coil) McKinney. 

On October 3, 1993 in Waynesfield, OH he married Leslie Rone, who died October 18, 2011. 

He is survived by:

Sister, Janet (Jim) White III  of St. Marys, OH

2 nieces, Tammy Fleck and Trish Smith        

1 nephew, James White IV

5 great-nieces and  2 great-nephews 

He was preceded parents, Raymond and Gladys McKinney and his sister, Joan McKinney. 

He was a 1966 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School.

Victor was employed in maintenance shop services department at Crown Equipment Corp. in New Bremen. He had also worked at the truck plaza in Wapakoneta, OH for a number of years. 

He was a member of Ross Church of the Brethren, near Mendon, OH. 

His favorite pastimes included fishing, camping and caring for his dogs and pet rabbits.

Funeral rites are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Saturday March 10, 2012 at Ross Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Keith Stoller, officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, OH.

Visitation 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at Miller – Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street Chapel in St. Marys.
