Lilly E. Herzog, 84, of 302 North Spruce Street, Saint Marys, Ohio, died 8:02 P.M. Friday, July 16, 2010, at the Valley Nursing Home in Saint Marys.

She was born June 7, 1926, in Saint Marys, the daughter of Ralph and Martha (Moser) Felver.

She married George Herzog, Sr. on March 2, 1946; he preceded her in death on November 17, 2002.

She is survived by her five children: George (Theresia) Herzog, Jr. of St. Cloud, Minnesota; Verlious (Joan) Herzog of Saint Marys; Larry (Stacy) Herzog of Wapakoneta; Leslie (Joan) Herzog of Saint Marys; Merricle Herzog of Sidney, Ohio; by ten grandchildren; by 16 great-grandchildren; by a sister, Marvalee (Howard) Germann of Saint Marys; a brother, Ralph (Sharon Rose) Felver, Jr. of Van Wert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings: Louis Felver; Cleo Howell; Goldie Meyer; Ervin “Red” Felver; Carl Felver; Basil Felver; by a granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Chaffins.

Lilly was a member of the First Wesleyan Church in Saint Marys. She was a homemaker and babysitter for many families in Saint Marys. She enjoyed crocheting and doing word search puzzles.

Funeral rites will be held 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be directed to the Valley Nursing Home, Saint Marys.
