Dorothy Grillot, 84, formerly of Fort Loramie, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at the Van Crest Nursing Home, Van Wert.

She was born July 1, 1923, in Auglaize County, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Louise (Rohrbach) Schamp.

She married Eugene Cencebaugh on November 14, 1942 and he preceded her in death on January 4, 1970; she married Allen Grillot on August 5, 1972 and he died Sunday, January 20, 2008.

She is survived by one daughter, Jill (Ed) Conrad of Van Wert; by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, three brothers: Gerald, Harold and Albert Schamp; four sisters: Wreatha Schamp; Gladys Binkley; Mary Hall and Elsie Ackley.

She retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Saint Marys and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Saint Marys. She enjoyed fishing.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 26, 2008, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Saint Marys, the Reverend Bill Maki officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, Saint Marys.

Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services at the church on Saturday, where memorial donations may be directed to Van Wert Hospice.
