Charlene Fannon, 78, formerly of 902 Kimberly Drive, Saint Marys, Ohio, died 8:45 A.M. Saturday, August 4, 2007, at the Valley Nursing Home, Saint Marys.

She was born April 7, 1929, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Carl and Rosella (Meyer) Weimert.

She married Otis Fannon, Jr. on April 3, 1948; he survives at the residence.

She is survived by four children: Sandra (Roger) Wiehe of Celina; Pamela (Tom) Stoker of Celina; Sharon (William) Woodburn of Riegelwood, North Carolina; Jeff (Holly) Fannon of Sidney; by a son-in-law, Tim Collins of Sunset Harbor, North Carolina; by 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; by two brothers, Thomas Weimert of Saint Marys; Donald (Janet) Weimert of Saint Marys.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Patricia Collins; by two brothers: Richard and Robert Weimert; by three grandsons, by one great-grandchild.

Charlene was a 1947 graduate of Saint Joseph High School in Wapakoneta. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed camping with her family.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, and the Altar Sodality of the Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Saint Marys, the Reverend Anthony Cutcher, celebrant. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, where memorial donations may be directed to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or to St. Peter’s Neurological Center.
