Clifford Beougher

Clifford Beougher, 85, of 1110 Lane Avenue, Saint Marys, died 3:57 A.M. Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at the Valley Nursing Home, Saint Marys.

 

He was born May 26, 1922, in Celina, Ohio, the son of William and Bessie (White) Beougher.

 

He married Marcile Krugh on July 24, 1943; she survives at the residence.

 

He is also survived by:

· Son, Carey (Lucy) Beougher of Kissimmee, Florida

· Daughter,  Elena Beougher of Celina

· 7 grandchildren: Carlton Beougher; Andrea Lenore; Angela Beougher; Andrea Dutton Brown; Nicole Dutton Kogge; Cory Dutton; Ryan Dutton

· 5 great-grandchildren: Kaylee; Haylee; Kyle; Ryan; and Joel.

 

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents; by one son in infancy; by two brothers: Harry and Gale Beougher; by three sisters: Edith Zizelman, Florence Fast and Opal Robinson.

 

Cliff attended the Stringtown School in Mercer County. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Europe during WWII.

He was retired from Huffy Corporation; he also sold insurance for Midwestern United Life Company.

 

Cliff was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Saint Marys and VFW Post 9289. He enjoyed collecting cars and coins.

 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 7, 2007, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, the Reverend Tim Smith officiating. Burial, with military rites, will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

 

Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. Friday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, where memorial donations may be directed to either the Kidney Foundation or the Cancer Association of Auglaize County.
